    Myth 2: people with diabetes cannot exercise 

    Well, this one is also a flop as the doctors recommend daily exercise to people suffering from diabetes. Exercise does help the body to lessen the sensitivity towards insulin.

    If you have diabetes, you need to also work with a dietitian that can help you choose the best foods that can be helpful in the management of diabetes. This is important, as they will let you know that you can consume pretty much anything and there is no need to add extra things to your diet. 

    Myth 4: Insulin is just enough for any time of diabetes

    People that are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes can take insulin and can go by their day like it's no big deal. But, when it comes to people that suffer from type 2 diabetes, there are a lot of factors that can play an important role in keeping them normal like oral medicines, diet, and exercise. Some also need non-insulin injectable medicine and those may also not work for them. So thinking that insulin files everything is not correct. 

    So, to keep the blood sugar controlled, just insulin is not enough in some cases, a lot of extra care is needed. 

    Myth 5: You can stop the medicine once the diabetes is under control

    Some people that have diabetes 2 can control their weight just by eating healthy foods, doing regular exercise, and losing weight. But it must be forgotten that diabetes progresses and is a progressive disease.

    With time even if you do all you can to stay healthy, you will still need medicine to keep your blood sugar within your target range. So, never do the mistake of getting off the medicines by yourself. Always consult with your doctor if you want to get off the medicines. So, it is a complete myth that stopping the intake of diabetes medicine can make your diabetes go away.
